How Dedicated Am I?

Since the Upstairs is Mostly Done,  I had a huge task this week.  Find a table to eat Thanksgiving on.  I’ve got several tables in my home but they were piled high with stuff.  I think it’s been 3 or so months since we squeezed all of our family around the same table for dinner.  Pathetic right?  Usually we clear off little corners for a kid in one room and another in the kitchen.  A lot of us have been sitting on the floor or chowing down on dinner while standing.

I promise that there is a honking large table under that pile of clutter.

Summer 1343

This is a Before/After Hoarding  (Haven’t Painted and decorated Yet).  That will hopefully happen over the next couple of weeks.  The Dinning Room!

And on Thanksgiving morning…

Summer 1440

It felt so good to sit around this table.

Summer 1441

And I know it will feel even better when Ms. Passion helps me make over the room.

I’m amazed that I still want this transformation as heartily as I did on day 1 of my Self (Hoarding) Awareness.  Now I’ve got proof of how badly I want this.

Proof about how dedicated I am at the De-Hoarding.  Want to know what it is.  I just listed my precious obsession on EBay.

Summer 563

My First Print, First Edition, Autographed Obsession.  It’s not that I’m not still obsessed.  (Just a wee bit).  It’s that having a peaceful home is so much more important.  Are you not proud of me?  I am.  The things I really love are my Family, not rare autographed books.  However, I do hope they bring in a little $ to help pay for the Beautifying process of my Home.   Wish me Luck.

Get off the Computer!

Step Away from the Computer.

You shouldn't be on it. Maybe you could step outside and enjoy one of these here Beauties!
Or stay inside and snuggle with your kiddo's.

Please don't tell me your as addicted to blogging as I am.

Geezzzz! It's Thanksgiving already. You know the time to be thankful for family and friends.
What are you still doing checking out my post. I could go on and on about the multitude of stuff I'm Thankful for but instead I'm actually going to spend that time with my family. O.K.

P.S. You should do the same.

Oh, and before you go. I just want to take the time to Thank you for being my blog friends, commenter's and lurkers. I really appreciate you stopping in every now and then to say Hi.
Hope you all have a wonderful Holiday and don't stuff yourself too much. See you in a couple of days.

My Top Ten Thankful for’s…

• My testimony of the Savior and his love for me as an individual. The Tender Mercies have come in waves this past year…

• My amazing husband who loves and supports me no matter how hormonal, witchy, and cranky, I get...

• The most amazing 6-pack of kids that teach me 24/7 all about love and how to be a better person…

• The miracle of health in my life. This last year I’ve been given a second chance and I don’t intend to throw it away…

• Family and Friends who call just to say, ‘Hi, How are you? What can I do to help?’ And more often than not, they are in much more need of help than I. I’ve been blessed with so many of these angels over the past couple of years…

• Happiness and Laughter especially in my children…

• Goals and Accomplishments: My firsts this year included, hair highlights, pedicure’s, 5K’s (notice the plural), Sprint Triathlon’(s), Homeschooling my Princess’s...

• Realizing the importance of taking care of me first. I know it sounds a little selfish, but when I take care of myself I have the energy and capacity to take better care of the loved ones around me…

• Hugs…

• I’m thankful for Weaknesses. Through them I’ve been strengthened and gained a testimony of how much my Father in Heaven loves me. And through the weaknesses I see that others have been given, I can now see how much he loves and cares for them as well.

I’ll probably kick myself for forgetting some other things. I wish everyone an amazing thanksgiving. What are you Thankful for…
