I have to admit that when Susanne mentioned fairy portals as a comment to one of my Leprechaun blogs, I was intrigued and had to check them out at ClaybyKim. Within a week I went and bought some oven bake Sculpey Clay. Finally last night the kids and I sat down and attempted to make our own Fairy Portal.
Can I tell you that I was really happy with how it turned out?
Nice and Noticeable.
The kids are now all sketching out different fairy door designs because they all want one too. I promise the next time I make one I’ll take pictures and provide step-by-step instructions on how to do it –and even how to include kids in helping so they feel like they were a part of the process.

Wow! It turned out so awesome! I have to say, you are way too talented. Can't you send some of that natural creative talent my way, please? :-)
What a neat project! I love the attention to detail. I wonder if I can create a portal to somewhere that's nice and quiet where someone brings me iced tea as I lie on a chair and listen to the ocean...
It's hard not to be jealous of such brilliance.
So fun! I love it! I particularly like that you will include instructions on how to emulate your amazing crafting skills because even though I am unlikely to ever actually find the time to do it, I really like the idea that I could potentially enjoy that kind of project with my kids...
