A Little Bit More Magic

Just wanted to give you a sweet follow-up to my last post.  My sweet friend took pictures of her children’s adventures with the Fairy Door and sent them to me.  I’m posting them with her permission.

Finding something new and delightful at the park.

Leaving the wee folks a message.

And when they visit the next day the MAGIC HAPPENS!  These expressions say it all, and might I add those precious dimples are so overwhelming me in a good way.

Pure Enchantment!

I hope, Dear Readers, that you don’t feel like I’m tooting my own horn by sharing my Fairy Door adventure.  In a world with so much pressure and negativity I just wanted to share something that brings me happiness.  Kids are so often rushed from one lesson to another, or plugged into an electronic device so it’s often hard to find time to just be a kid and use their imagination.   And as adults – When was the last time we found joy in little things?  Paused to watch the clouds or study the butterfly’s wings.  It’s different for everyone.  But finding the little moments of joy are what makes life sweeter and keeps us from getting overwhelmed by the world around us.

Definitely think the discovery pictures qualifies for…

The Happiness Project

What a great idea!

I love that you always give them a bit of magic...isn't that what childhood is all about? =)

Fawndear, I loved this post. What a Sweet, thoughtful, wonderful lady you are. How many people would take the time to make something special happen in the imaginations of a little one. I spend a lot more time trying to get my kids to be realistic. I loved the expressions of the faces of those dear little children. Made my day. May you continue to be blessed by those around you too. Thanks to your friend for sharing the pictures too. Keep having fun.

My dear young lady although we've not yet met; I love you already. Thankyou for bringing such sparkling joy to my grandchildren and all others, whose still innocent paths you sprinkle with your magical fairy dust.
You make my heart smile.

From reading all these comments, I feel that I can truthfully say that we all love your fairy door and are not in the least bit upset that you keep mentioning it. It's something to be proud of.

I totally thought about you the other evening while my sons and I watched a swarm of dragonflies in our yard for 20 minutes...just fascinating and magical.
